The following information is available for Victory Baptist Church:
A relevant church for real people.
A church was never intended to be a building where people come to to "God's House" to visit God on Sunday. God's house is the body of every believer and God's church is when two or more believers gather in Jesus name for the purposes of encouraging, teaching, loving, and reaching out to one another. The church can gather in a field, on a beach, in a parking lot, under a tree or in a building. The church of Victory Baptist choose to meet each Sunday and Wednesday night in a building at 275 Faye Barfield Rd, Henning, TN 38041. Our desire is to be a relative and real church that is honest with God, ourselves, and one another. If you are tired of just visiting God on Sunday and ready to truly know His will and purpose for your life, our church would like for you to visit us and experience the difference of a real and living God working through a people who need His grace and mercy every day.

Our dear brother and friend, John Kelly, went to be with the Lord Thursday. He fought cancer for years and now Jesus has delivered him from all his sorrow and pain. His body will be at Garner's Funeral Home in Ripley, TN on Sunday with viewing from 5pm-8pm. His funeral service will begin at 11am Monday with his dear friend and long-time pastor Dan Holland leading the service. A meal will be served at Victory Baptist Church following the services. John was a great servant of the Lord! He was a wonderful elder and deacon of our church who was always kind and gentle, exhibiting the fruits of the Spirit in every form. John loved his church, faithfully serving for years. John Kelly was so supportive of all of his pastors, loving and encouraging them in both good and bad times. There are not many men like John Kelly and he will be sorely missed. He made a true difference in his church, his family, his community, and this world. Heaven has welcomed a great saint and the world has lost a great and true man of God.
Sometimes we just need something to believe in and someone who believes in us. Let God be that someone!
Unfortunately, some of us are lost on our journey. We are not quite sure which road we are on. Today, Pastor Wallace discusses how we can know which road we are on.

We may have studied the wrong questions when we get to the judgment seat of Christ. The real questions will not be: Did you go to church? Did you read your Bible? Did you pray? Were you theologically correct? The real question will be: Did you demonstrate your love for Jesus by loving the least of these?
Pastor Wade Wallace will be back with us this Sunday, July 21, 2019, after a two-month sabbatical. He would like to thank the church for all the prayers and support during this time of renewal. He would also like to thank Pastor Barron Martin for his awesome and inspiring messages during the month of June. Daniel Allen and Clyde Maughan for the great job they did sharing the word of God the last couple of weeks. And lastly, a big thank you to Rafael Barney for leading the inspiring and encouraging Wednesday night Bible studies.
We will never understand the love God has for us until we understand the length He would go to show His love to us!

We all need mercy.
God wants to cloth us in His righteousness, but we first have to remove what we have put on.
Why do we struggle over the same hurts, habits, and hangups years after being "born-again". We must understand that salvation is more than a one time experience. It is a growing process.
